Description
Our Texas Star is one of our most challenging targets. The paddles are held in place with a unique spring retention system. When shot, the paddles are released and fall to the ground and the change in weight distribution causes the star to rotate.
With each successful shot on the paddles the star rotates and changes direction depending on which paddles are shot off. To increase the challenge, an idea is to put a no-shoot paddle low and centred to guarantee the first hit will create the unbalanced condition, to start the rotation of the star.
The paddles are easily reset by inserting them into the spring-loaded holders, and one person can easily reset all the paddles in under 30 seconds. Our Texas Star is an excellent training target for speed and directional shooting by increasing response time and shooter coordination.
